Lake Road Restaurant, the hotly anticipated new venture of Chef Dan Megna and Laurie Lilliman of acclaimed Twisted Lemon Restaurant will open this weekend for the James Street Supercrawl September 11-13, 2015.
Following the “first you crawl, then you walk, then you run” philosophy, Lake Road will open with a limited menu for Supercrawl weekend (including a few snacks created “to travel”); to which it will gradually add over the course of the next month, before holding a ticketed menu launch party mid-October. A VIP Grand Opening Gala for media and invited guests will complete the trio of opening events, planned for late October or early November.
Under Executive Chef Dan Megna, Chef Luke Petruzzella will head up the kitchen at Lake Road, having spent the last year at the Twisted Lemon following tenure at the Ancaster Mill, Ravine Vineyards, Oban Inn and Rousseau House.
Following SuperCrawl 2015, Lake Road will open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with their “Stone Oven” menu bridging the gap between lunch and dinner, and as “late night” fare. Reservations will be accepted by phone for parties of six or more, with a private room available for up to 20 on the main level, while an expansive lower function and meeting room is being completed.
Beginning Tuesday, September 15th, initial hours of operation will be as follows:
11:30am-2:30pm – Lunch Menu
2:30pm-4:30pm – Stone Oven Menu
4:30pm-10:30pm – Dinner Menu
10:30pm on – Stone Oven menu
