Thinking this weekend will be boring after all the excitement of Supercrawl? Think again! Because Green Venture’s Uproot event will be happening this Saturday Sept 16th at 5:30, and it’s bound to be a great time!
The event will take place at EcoHouse, a 1850s heritage home that has been renovated and retrofitted as an environmental demonstration home, complete with 1.9 acres of greenery to stroll in.
During Uproot, guests will be able to enjoy Tapas style local food from culinary geniuses like: Karam Kitchen, Nellie James, The Limin’ Coconut, Eat Inc./Bar Izakaya, and Earth to Table Bread Bar. Dessert will be provided by Cake & Loaf. There is a cash bar at the event, complete with local The Hamilton Brewery beers, and wine, as well as raffles throughout the night with fabulous prizes from businesses such as Collective Arts Brewing.
Proceeds from the event will go to Green Venture, Hamilton’s premiere environmental education not-for-profit organization.
Not only will you be able to enjoy the live music, while enjoying delicious food and drink – you’ll also be able to learn about sustainability initiatives and discover ideas that you’ll be able to implement at your own home.
