NOSH Week 2018

Hamilton’s Annual NOSH week officially begins today, launching another week of delicious events in the city.

To find out more about the background behind NOSH, check out this post.

While there are tons of tasty things going on throughout the city this week – find the full list on the official NOSH Facebook page at this link – one of the biggest events of the week is always the NOSH Chef Wars.

Chef Wars Masters Nosh Week

Sponsored by Feed the Social, Unilver Food Solutions, City of Hamilton, Collective Arts Brewing, Food sponsors: The General, Donors: Rustic Designs by Rich, Sharp Knife Shop, and wine Partner Synonym; the NOSH Chef War is basically like a live Chopped, a culinary battle among the best of the best. Not only do you get treated to the culinary show, participating chefs will have food available for purchase, and there will be a booth for both beer (Collective Arts Brewing) and wine (Synonym Shop).

This year has an extra special spin on it, they are bringing back the ‘masters’ from each of the previous years – winners or close to – and pitting them up against each other.

Participants in the battle include:

Chef Michael Cipollo (Hambrgr, Fsh & Chp, Lost + Found)
Chef Gordon Goss (Radius)
Chef Dmitry Perov (Brux House)
Chef Jonny Blonde (Jonny Blonde Food Truck & Catering)
Chef Ken LeFebour (Nellie James)

The event will take place at the HWT Centre (formerly Sarcoa) and, weather permitting, will take place outside.

Full details can be found on the poster below.
